Family in Need 2010, Cancer

Every year CheapShots has people submit families that are in need for Christmas.  This year, we would like to introduce you to two families.

1.  The Hunter Family:  The father in this family is the sole income provider.  He was self employed, then was diagnosed with terminal cancer.  Amidst all this, they were denied catastrophic insurance, which means now they are battling cancer, without income or insurance. Click HERE to see the facebook fundraiser.

2.  The Jorgensen Family:  This little family was recently torn apart by divorce.  I first heard about them in September. The mother has 3 children, and is not currently receiving child support from the father because the divorce is not yet final.  I'm sure money is tight as she's trying to live on her own (not in the home where they were married)  Here's the information for the children if any of you are able to
Thank you for your letter sumissions and willingness to help these families.  Last year CheapShots matched the total amount of money that was brought in for the family, had many toys donated, and the family was able to have a great Christmas.  Here is the information for the kids, names have been removed in order to maintain a little privacy

This year, I would like to take money donations for both families, but I want to put a fun twist in it.  For every $10 donated to one of these families, your name will be entered in a drawing for a free photo shoot.  For every $200 we receive in donations, we will give away another photo shoot.  So the more money we raise for these families, the more photo shoots we will be giving away. If we raise $1000 for these families, we will give away 5, 60 minute shoots.  I would love MORE than anything have these families get what they need for Christmas.  If you know either of these families, please do not tell them we are doing this.  We would LOVE for it to be a surprise.  We will also give each of these families free photo shoots if we are able to come up with $1000 to give to them.

Here's how to donate

1.  Mail a check
CheapShots! Attn: Family in Need
529 South 1550 East
Spanish Fork, UT 84660

(please let us know how much and to which family you would like to donate)

2.  Leave a donation in our drop box at the same address.  It's on the side of the house above the wagon wheels.  Please again specify which family or both families that you would like the money given to.

3.  Paypal.  Email us at cheapshotsllc@yahoo.com and we can send you a link to donate online to these families.  We will need to know in the email the total amount that you want to donate so we can send you an online invoice

PLEASE forward this onto all your friends and family.  I know that if I was in either of these family's shoes I would be on my knees every day praying for a miracle.  You may not realize it, but you and me, are those miracles.
